Alas something new to want! I love these. They are Heisey style lamps, not sure what exactly they are other than magnificent! They are sexy and a bit masculine but beautiful anywhere.

Latest Acquisitions! Stunning Antique Lion chair and China Cabinet
It's been awhile since I posted but VOILA! Two new lovelys, A gorgeous Victorian carved lion chair. Unique because the intire front half of the lion is carved including his head chest and front paws.Found him at a beloved haunt of mine, the I got started patiently stripping the thick sticky old varnish myself because refinishers who are less than careful can sand and destroy the fine detail.
Also I have an antique carved lion China cabinet acquired at an estate sale in the LaSalle Historical area. While it has changed hands since then, the house was the very same one that Aretha Franklin lived in with her parents as a child! A free tour! One of the many perks of living in Motown. The Top two back panels are mirrored and this piece will require some real effort and investment, it only came with 2 shelves and should have at least 2 more. It also needs to be refinished and the curved front and side glass needs to be replaced. .
