My first real Fashion Post! Avant Garde Fall Wardrobe looks! Vintage Military, Native American and Bohemian looks!

So here in  the big mitten we had a soul scorching week of triple digit weather followed by what do you say...... that's right! Hail storms! Yee Haw I love Michigan weather ( NO really I do just when you think you cant take anymore you get something all together different!)
Anywoo it has ushered in a bout of unmistakably fall weather! And inspired me to my favorite fashion season! So here are some of my plans for this fall

Ok ! So I want a colonial Georgian period top with stay to wear with jeans and Georgian inspired heels with bows. I want more than one top maybe 2 or three. I can collect the fabric and either learn to sew or find one of the Haberman's vetted seamstresses to make it for me. I do not own these images they are simply gorgeous images I found searching online.

As you will soon discover, I etsy like a mad woman! Im a seller and supporter of the etsy community. Be sure to stop in and check out my stores I'll gladly offer a 20% discount to anyone who follows my blog and mentions it before checkout. I have one Shop that is ethnic and earthy jewelry called EthnicEmporium www.etsy.com/shop/EthnicEmporium
One Shop that features slightly highend items www.etsy.com/shop/BelleHeleneDetroit
One for Shabby Chic and French home decor BelleHeleneHome www.etsy.com/shop/BelleHeleneHome
And one for wedding jewelry and the bright and twinkly called SomethingOldAndBlue www.etsy.com/shop/SomethingOldAndBlue
I have, however, not turned my back on bohemian looks. I want a Native American inspired look to wear as well with jeans. Everything with jeans makes it easy! These are mostly from one of my favorite Etsy shops call SpiritTribe  www.etsy.com/shop/SpiritTribe the breastplate is from another great Etsy shop MountainManForSale www.etsy.com/shop/MountainMan4sale

                                                                   Very cool Ear Cuff
                                                               Very Boho Headband
                                                                   Amazing Ear Cuffs

                                                                     Dream Catcher
                                                                          Breastplate

I also have a couple of military looks planned. All of these finds I discovered on Etsy.com
Military hat
WW2 Jacket
Navy Dress Belt Buckle

Gold filled Wire Bracelet

Very very cool Amo belt with spent rounds!

Navy Dress Jacket

War Medal

Had to do something for my favorite era... The Victorian Era! Home of the Steampunk! All hail the Queen! Cant let the Georgians have all the fun!
All on Etsy of course!

From KatarinaCouture
Had to specify this shop because I think it is very cool that she makes the hats herself. I have a larger head and for those of us with an embarassments of riches in the brains department, or braids, twists and elaborate hairstyles that we dont wish to crush, a custom hat is a true stroke of luck!

Button up high collar jacket

Lace Fingerless gloves

Custom Victorian Boots from Romania! How cool is that! And not all that pricey for what you get

I am really excited about bringing my fantasies to life with this eclectic, out the box, collection. Hasn't every little girl (or boy) looked at historical garb at some point in their lives and thought how sad it is that those fashions aren't in today? That they will never get to wear high button collars or corsets to school? Well the great thing about the struggling economy is that everyone is wearing everything. Even designers are recycling collections. I had utter deja vue looking at last years fall collection from my greatest love Ralph Lauren! Even the adds were the same as something I saw back in high school. Just do it! Pair it with jeans if you are afraid of looking a little too theatrical on the street but don't be afraid to live a little. Be the cool one!
